An
Interesting
Day
2016

On August 8th 2016 we hosted a weird, one-day conference on an island in the Oslofjord.

We invited 150 people to spend a day listening to talks from some of the most interesting people in entrepreneurship, design and creativity. There were lots of fun activities, and a great party top it off.

We did it again in 2017.

Information

What was it all about?

Good question! We like to do our part in building a solid, fun tech community. An Interesting Day is about gathering spectacular people to a full day of great stories, inspiration and just hanging out and having a good time. We gathered top-notch speakers to tell their stories and arranged fun activities throughout the day. We closed off by throwing a party to celebrate Bakken & Bæck’s 5-year anniversary.

Who was invited?

In addition to a lot of great people from the Nordic tech and startup scene, we invited some of the most brilliant entrepreneurs and creatives from across the world.

We aimed to get a really fun and diverse crowd of ~150 people on the island, and people from all backgrounds came to Norway to join us.

Special thanks to...

Alice Phoebe Lou, Prins Thomas, Bjørn Torske and André Bratten provided great music and Linda Bingo hosted the most amazing bingo games we’ve played. Thanks to everyone who helped us out with food, drinks and logistics for the event. Big up to Anne Valeur and Christian Karlsen & Christoffer for capturing everything on camera!
